Vidalia Announces New Lead Singer
Mar 29, 2017
Vidalia recently announced Louisiana country music veteran David St. Romain as their new lead singer. St. Romain and founding member Ronnie Calhoun have
been great friends for over a decade, so it was a natural fit when Calhoun began searching for the new singer. Calhoun said "I knew David was going
to be my first call and I was going to make him tell me no. Any time you can join forces with a talent like David it's a no brainer."
Vidalia has had two albums so far and they both went top 25 (#11 & #24) on the iTunes Country Music Chart. Their debut album "Friday Night Heroes" that has their two biggest hits to date, "Louisianne" and "Swamp Assassin," also went to #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Vidalia was recently name one of 225 Magazine's "People To Watch" in Baton Rouge in 2017.
St. Romain is a seasoned veteran who has had a lot of success throughout the years, including a 3rd place finish in the nationally televised series Nashville Star in 2007. St. Romain told us he is very excited about teaming up with Calhoun and Matt Tortorich and he is really looking forward to putting out new music with them.
Also, make sure to follow them on Spotify (and add them to your playlists) and Pandora.
